Rejecting Femininity

Print | Editorial Design
Rejecting Femininity is rejecting the cultural idea of femininity in order to inject the new notion of being females. The parts we are taught to hide are the same parts that we must embrace as our identity and not be ashamed.

The exhibition catalogue is a curation of female artists whose work embodies the feminine grotesque, and the monstrous women in menstruation, physique, and appearances. I wanted the catalogue design to be symbolic of female liberation from social/cultural construction of who we should be.
